About Me
Ben Randall is an award-winning author and a graduate of the University of San Francisco, Global University (ICI), Berean Institute, and attendee of Golden Gate Theological Seminary.
In 1984, following a tour in Viet Nam and a decade as a Police Officer in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ben was licensed and ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance. He served for ten years as the Senior Associate of a large Assembly of God church, in Northern California, and in 1994, he and his wife Roberta founded and pastored New Hope Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational, evangelical, Christian church.
Ben worked as a volunteer Chaplain at San Quentin State Prison, and served his community as Police Chaplain, being trained as a Hostage and Critical Incident Negotiator. He has spoken at numerous churches, conferences, seminars, retreats, and global missions. Produced and hosted a weekly radio show reaching the greater Bay Area, and authored editorials, articles, plays, and skits. His dramatic monologue of the Book of James brings the Scriptures to life as he performs “A Man Called James.”
Retired in 2011, Ben now serves as Associate Pastor at The Father’s House Church in Leesburg, Florida. His tasks include serving as Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors, speaker, and teacher. He is responsible for pastoral oversight of TFH Brotherhood Men’s ministry, and the TFH Safety ministry. Ben also sits on the Board of Directors of Follow the Need, International, a global mission’s outreach to Africa, South America, and wherever a need arises. Ben began writing Christian Fiction in 2019, with his first book, Between the Lightning and the Thunder, a short biblical fiction novel, earning several awards and set to be released in February 2023.
